You can locate an enrolment center by visiting the UIDAI website or using the mAadhaar app on your smartphone. You can also book an online appointment at an ASK to avoid long queues and save time.


You need to fill up an enrolment form and submit your biometric and demographic details such as fingerprints, iris scan, photograph, name, date of birth, gender, address, etc.

  • Click on "Download Aadhaar" and save the PDF file on your device.



  • The PDF file is password protected and you need to enter the first four letters of your name and the year of birth in capital letters to open it. For example, if your name is Ravi Kumar and your year of birth is 1990, then your password is RAVI1990.

  • Visit the UIDAI website and click on "Download Aadhaar".



  • Select "Enrolment ID" from the "I have" dropdown menu.



  • Enter your 14-digit EID and the captcha code.



  • Click on "Send OTP" or "Enter a TOTP" to authenticate yourself.



  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number or the TOTP generated by the mAadhaar app.



  • Select the option to download a regular Aadhaar or a masked Aadhaar. A regular Aadhaar displays your full AN while a masked Aadhaar masks the first 8 digits of your AN.



  • Click on "Download Aadhaar" and save the PDF file on your device.
